OMG…I’m just sitting here thinking about what you said…wow that is so true…He’s not going to give us something and He can’t trust us…That really sunk in my Spirt…That’s why I’m still where I am…I mean I Praise God for a roof over me and my family head,,,but it’s just time to leave the neighborhood…I’ve been there for 20 something yrs…it’s getting crazy…and being that our rent was so messed up…How can He give me something I can’t keep the rent up…so until I can show the Lord that He comes first and then my priority’s, My house is paid and my car is paid IN FULL…

You started something today LOL….

Love ya back….

I’m so loving Soul Food…We’re moving at the end of August or September…that Prayer you just said OMG…that’s what I’m talking about…I ask God each time to Bless us with a place that we can afford…Yes we’ve been back up on our rent, and we’re catching up, but I asking God to keep us up with our rent once we move…I’ve been selfish in my spending, not even taking care of my first priority…So I thank you for Soul Food…

Love ya boo

Hey,Hey,Hey…what’s happening…how are ya. Im doing very well…So how has it been…How are you doing with the station..I’m still clicking on to see if your back up…Are you still staying at the church…Just hold on and keep Praying…Miss hearing you. As for me, I’ve been learning a lot about myself…2008 has taught me so much about finances…I was selfish and in flesh when I had my 40th birthday dinner last year…that’s what put my bills and everything else behind…but I’ve learned to put priorities first…instead of having this big party, I could’ve had it to where It would’ve been done buffet style at a resteraunt not paying 1500 for a catered dinner…it put a hurting on my finances…bills back up car payment back up,cable bill off twice I mean it was a mess…they were garnishing marc’s check for a bill that had to be paid, being back up my rent…so I’ve learned so much…so now im happy that things are coming around…we’re planning to move from Newark the end of august or beginning of September…..so we’re in transition also…just wanted to see how you doing…holla back..

Love ya much…

I am at work, surfing to find some gospel music to listen to, and justfound your station. I don't have a radio, mp3 player or iPod here tolisten to music, and I neeeeeds my gospel music during the day. Praise God!Your newest listener,PJ

Dear Edward J,

That's right, and i thank God for people like you when He says do it, you do it and you just let Him use you! i believe He told you to write that email to edify and encourage me and us! Glory to the Most High God!

yes we must meet one day, haha, im not sure when, i am in the Philippines and yes we are meeting in the mission field/battle field for the gospel!

God bless you Edward J and KJFJ! What a station, and what staff, starting from you, you are really living what it means to be "let your light shine before men" so that our Father in heaven is praised.

Thanks a lot again, and i'll keep listening to Soul Food! On behalf of Franklin Records, we thank you and we speak blessings to you and the station. A beautiful Christmas, indeed!

You are just doing what He told you to do, and you are just running your own race in your life call, that someday He will say to you well done, my faithful servant..thank you for your life, i believe it's not only me that gets encouraged and blessed with your station, but millions of listeners in the united states and anywhere with internet connection. i was able to read some of the listener's emails posted on your site one time, and i thought here is one station that God is really using. right, it doesn't matter what we do, as long as we do it for His glory. you are strategically placed where you are right now, with that much acces in the media, to be preaching the gospel. more ears receive it and it blesses them one way or another. my utmost prayer is that the Holy Spirit continues to anoint you and bless you and use your life for Jesus.

i came upon your station and so i sent that first email..oh and if you remember you suggested i add KJFJ to my favorites, well i did and been listening to it from then on. and since i work around the time Soul Food comes on, i been listening to that while working and keeps on saying amen :-)

Have you lost your mind? That is like a family legend my Grandfathers favorite song but he passed away 2 years ago. Now I know I have to have that song on that disc that you are going to make me.

This really made my morning.

Greetings brother,

I just started listening to you online and I was trying to keep notes of the sermon on fasting from wrong thinking. Who was the pastor preaching and does his church have a website I can go to? You really blessed me this morning when you were speaking on Miss Go Getter! May God continue to bless you and your ministry! LOVE THE STATION!

God Bless you!

Thanks a lot brother J! This is truly a blessing! My wife who is also in the Air Force was searching on line and ran across your station and sent out an e-mail. The government blocks most online radio, but we can listen to KJFJ at work so this is AWESOME! We are really enjoying the music and the WORD. I will definitely keep in touch. Be Blessed!

I love this song! All of the old school r&b jams remixed for Christ are my favorite! Where do you find them? I’m only 28, but I grew up on the music from the 70’s and this is so much better!

Brother J,

You are an awesome instrument for God. Thank you for your encouraging words about my wife. Yes I have found a good thing. Sometimes we don’t realize it and or take it for granted. Thank God for men of God like you and one of my mentors (Rev. or Captain Johnny Calhoun). Who when I announced my calling, embraced me and continues to share his wisdom with me. Rev Calhoun bought me a couple of books to help me in preparing to preach. The one I’m reading now “DISCIPLINES OF A GODLY MAN” by R. Kent Hughes has taught me a lot about loving my wife like Christ loves the church! This is one area that I WAS lacking. It has never been a question of whether or not I love my wife, but LOVING LIKE CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH is a love that you need to know Christ and get into His word to truly understand. Husbands have a responsibility that many take lightly.

We have recently, as a family (including my fifteen year old nephew who lives with us) began fasting from negative thinking and especially negative or degrading words. Death and Life are in the power of the tongue and we have to use our power for good and not evil. A lot of people knowingly and unknowingly speak curses over themselves, their children, their spouses. In my house the words I can’t are not aloud, and if it slips you will put a dollar in the Philippians 4:13 jar. I recognized that, and made up my mind that as for me and my house we will serve the Lord, we will speak life, we will encourage each other and not tear each other down with our words. I had a bad habit of speaking negative words over my wife, and it would be something like telling her that she is always late. You know how it is when you need to go somewhere and you have to wait on a woman to get ready. My wife and I are complete opposites in this area. I hate being late for anything! I believe if you’re early, you’re on time, and if you’re on time, you’re late. But in speaking those little words I was speaking that into her life. That was the past though! So that is one of many changes I’ve made and I just wanted to share that with you. God Bless!
